Intellum runs customer, partner, and employee education on one platform and data foundation. Creator Agent, Manager Agent, and Learner Agent are all available. WorkRamp products (Learn:Up and Academy by Confirm)
What Happened to WorkRamp?
WorkRamp's products are now part of Confirm, the new name of Learning Pool. Learning Pool acquired WorkRamp on October 15, 2025, and rebranded as Confirm on August 10, 2026. The former WorkRamp LMS is now Learn:Up, and the former WorkRamp customer LMS is now Academy.
The change came in steps. Learning Pool bought WorkRamp in October 2025, saying at the time that "WorkRamp will continue to operate as a core product within the Learning Pool portfolio." Learning Pool acquired Confirm HR, Inc. on May 19, 2026, then took the Confirm name on August 10, 2026.
Confirm now labels Learn:Up as the former WorkRamp Employee LMS and Academy as the former WorkRamp Customer LMS. Learn:Up is the core scale-up LMS. Academy is the dedicated customer and partner academy product.
For anyone evaluating WorkRamp today, the relevant Confirm product is Learn:Up, Academy, or a combination of Confirm products, depending on the use case.
The Most Important Difference
The biggest difference is packaging. Confirm sells Learn:Up and Academy as separate products. Intellum runs customer, partner, and employee education on one platform and data foundation.
Confirm's product pages say its Scale-Up products are "sold separately." Academy is the dedicated customer and partner academy. Learn:Up is positioned primarily for onboarding, enablement, and skills development, and its FAQ says it supports employee, customer, and partner training. Practice, Perform, and Create are additional separately sold products.
Intellum runs customer, partner, and employee programs on the same platform, with separate content, permissions, and branding for each audience and one data foundation underneath. A majority of enterprise customers run more than one audience on Intellum.
For a multi-audience buyer, the key question is which Confirm configuration the program requires. Learn:Up supports multiple audiences on its own, and Academy adds a dedicated external-academy product. Compare the quoted configuration, learner counts, branding, integrations, and data model against Intellum's single platform.
How Much Does WorkRamp Cost?
Learn:Up starts at $9 per user per month, billed annually, based on a 200-person company. Confirm prices its other Scale-Up products on the same basis.
- Practice, the AI simulations product: from $4 per user per month
- Perform, performance management: from $8 per user per month
- Academy, the customer LMS: pricing on request
- Create, the authoring product formerly called Elucidat: pricing on request
Intellum quotes each program to its requirements rather than publishing a rate card. Confirm's current documentation does not say every employee-and-customer program needs both Learn:Up and Academy. The fair comparison is total cost of ownership: a Confirm quote for the exact configuration against one Intellum quote for the same audiences, learner counts, integrations, branding, and data requirements.
AI and MCP
Intellum's Creator Agent, Manager Agent, and Learner Agent run on the learning platform itself, and its MCP connectors wrap the same Manager and Learner APIs that power Intellum's own interface. Confirm publicly documents MCP connectivity for Perform, its performance-management product.
Intellum
Creator Agent helps learning teams turn source material into structured courses. Manager Agent lets administrators handle assignments, workflow automation, and reporting in natural language. Learner Agent gives each learner a contextual AI tutor. Anything you can do in the platform, you can do through the agents.
Over the last two years, Intellum rebuilt the platform so every user-facing API is available to agents. A spreadsheet becomes enrolled users, and source files become a course draft, in one prompt.
WorkRamp (Learn:Up and Academy by Confirm)
Confirm lists four core Learn:Up features on its pricing page: AI Simulations, Skills engine, Personalized learning, and Analytics and reporting. Academy lists AI learning and AI course creation.
MCP and API connectivity is documented for Perform. Confirm's September 2026 product roundup lists a WorkRamp MCP server for Learn:Up as coming soon. No Academy MCP is listed on the Confirm Academy product page or in the September 2026 roundup, both checked September 24, 2026.
When the Learn:Up MCP server ships, buyers can compare which roles it serves and whether it reaches the platform's actions or a defined set of tasks. Intellum's MCP connectors serve learners, creators, admins and Evolve authors, and call the same APIs that power Intellum's own interface.
Learning Data
Learn:Up lists integrations such as Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, and Okta, plus analytics on learner engagement and progress. Intellum's Data Connector refreshes learning data in the customer's own warehouse every hour.
Learn:Up's current product page says it "integrates with tools like Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Google Workspace, and many more," and describes detailed analytics and reporting on learner engagement and progress. Confirm publishes broader integration coverage elsewhere in its suite, but those suite-level integrations are not proof that every connector is included with Learn:Up or Academy.
Intellum's Data Connector refreshes learning data objects in the customer's own warehouse every hour. Customer education data then sits next to renewal and adoption data, and employee training data next to performance data, from one source. Intellum also supports APIs, and Pub/Sub events deliver changes within seconds.
Ask Confirm which data-access methods are included with Learn:Up, and, if Academy is also required, how learner and reporting data are combined across the two products.
Where Intellum Is the Stronger Fit
Intellum is the stronger fit when several of these apply together.
- One multi-audience learning platform. Intellum runs customer, partner, and employee education on one platform and one data foundation, with no choice to make between separate LMS and academy products.
- Learning data measured against business outcomes. Data Connector output refreshes in your own warehouse every hour, next to revenue, retention, and adoption data.
- AI on the learning platform. Creator Agent, Manager Agent, and Learner Agent are all available.
- Deep proprietary content. Evolve provides visual authoring, more than 50 interactive components, branching, localization, and Cloud Sync with the platform.
- Enterprise security and governance. An annual SOC 2 Type II audit, a third-party HIPAA attestation, and EU-U.S., UK, and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification. Each audience runs as its own organization, with its own branded subdomain, permissions, and access. SSO options include SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Azure AD B2C. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and 256-bit TLS in transit, hosted on AWS in the US or in Ireland, under a 99.9% monthly uptime SLA.
Google Retail Training reaches employees of retailers in more than 30 countries on Intellum.
Where WorkRamp Is the Stronger Fit
Learn:Up is worth close evaluation for internal training and enablement teams, especially when the program fits Confirm's scale-up positioning.
- Mid-market internal training. Learning Pool described WorkRamp as "designed for high-growth and mid-market companies," and Learn:Up publishes a starting price.
- Learning plus performance. Confirm pairs Learn:Up with Perform in what it calls a Talent Flywheel of Learn, Engage, and Perform, giving HR and enablement teams a broader people stack than a standalone LMS.
- Dedicated academy option. Teams that want a separate product for customer and partner education can evaluate Academy, while Learn:Up remains the core LMS.
Moving From WorkRamp to Intellum
A move from WorkRamp starts with an inventory across whichever Confirm products are in use, scoped by Intellum's implementation and migration teams.
The inventory covers courses and content packages, learner records and completion history, certifications, Academy sites and e-commerce, SSO, HRIS integrations, and any reporting built on the API. The teams scope it against the actual environment and decide what moves directly, what is rebuilt, and what is archived.
