Stripe integration for Intellum E-commerce
Program owners sell activities, paths, certifications, events and subscriptions in Intellum and take payment through their organization’s Stripe account. An admin connects it in Intellum E-commerce.
Common uses of the Stripe integration
- Customer education leaders charge for access to gated courses and events and collect payment through Stripe.
- Certification owners sell paid certifications and receive payment in their own Stripe account.
- Program owners offer membership subscriptions that give learners access to content.
How the Stripe integration works
Intellum E-commerce lets you price individual activities, paths, certifications or events, or offer subscriptions. When a learner buys, Stripe processes the payment in your organization’s Stripe account and Intellum records the purchase.
Detailed payment reporting lives in Stripe. Purchase records are also available through the Intellum API and PubSub. Admins can set prices in bulk through the activity import.
How to set up the Stripe integration
An admin connects your organization’s Stripe account in Intellum E-commerce with its own credentials. Admins then set prices on the activities, paths, certifications or events they sell.
- A Stripe account ID and a Stripe admin
- Stripe API familiarity helps with payment reporting

- Card data: payment card details are excluded from every PubSub message.
- Account ownership: connect a Stripe account your organization owns, with a named Stripe admin.
