X (Twitter) sign-in integration

Customers, partners and other external learners sign in to Intellum with their X account. X passes the person’s email to Intellum, and Intellum uses it to identify them.

How it connects
Native via social OAuth
Who sets it up
Intellum sets it up for your site
What moves
One-way: email from X to Intellum

Common uses of X sign-in

  • Public audiences sign in to your academy with an X account they already have, with one less password to create.
  • Partners and other external learners reach training without an account in your company’s identity provider.

How X sign-in works

X sign-in uses social OAuth. A person signs in with their X account, and X passes their email to Intellum. Intellum uses that email as the identifier for the person’s account.

How to set up X sign-in

Intellum sets up X sign-in for your site.

  • An X account for each person who signs in this way
  • An email on that account, which identifies the person in Intellum
