VHall integration for webinars in China
Admins create VHall webinars as Intellum course sessions for live broadcast, replay and on-demand viewing. VHall is an enterprise webinar platform used primarily in China. An admin authorizes once.
Common uses of the VHall integration
- Admins educate employees or partners in China through VHall webinars hosted inside Intellum.
- Learners watch the embedded webinar live, as a replay or on demand from the course session.
- Facilitators stream as guest presenters once the host approves them from the members tab.
How the VHall integration works
An admin authorizes VHall once, and then any admin can create VHall webinars as course sessions. Enrolled learners click Open VHall, then Load Webinar, to see the embedded webinar with a countdown to the live start.
Facilitators load the guest-presenter view and request to stream. The host approves them from the members tab. Learners can watch live, as a replay or on demand inside the session.
How to set up the VHall integration
An admin enters the VHall App Key and Secret Key once in Settings › Apps. Admins then create VHall course sessions.

How the Intellum and VHall integration handles access and data
- Authentication: key-based, using a VHall App Key and Secret Key.
- Data that moves: Intellum sends VHall what it needs to create the webinar, and the VHall player is embedded in the course session. Nothing returns to Intellum, including attendance.
- Access: after one admin authorizes, all admins can create VHall webinars.
- Data residency: VHall’s data residency and performance are oriented to China.
What to know about the VHall integration
- If the presenter view doesn’t fit, facilitators scroll inside the embed to see all of it.
